Anniversary Trip to Lake Lure

This was our 4th trip to Lake Lure for our anniversary. I love that we have a tradition. The resort we have visited for the past three years is AWESOME! If you are looking for a mountainous retreat with amenities, might I suggest Rumbling Bald Resort. This year was a little different in that we took the kids and my good friend and her husband met us there, but we had a blast!

Kennedy Family Christmas

We enjoyed shrimp and steak at Matt and Becca's Saturday night.

Jeri and Loren (aka Grandma and Grandpa) came over Christmas morning.

Lydia got a dolhouse.

Madelyn got a GIANT pink dog.

Christmas night we went to Joey's parents for lasagna.

Madelyn slept most of the time.

The kids played together.

I just can't get enough of that reindeer butt. (The daddy is pretty handsome, too.)

Then it was movies and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
