4th of July

Due to the massive amounts of rain, our local fireworks was postponed from Thursday to Saturday. So like any good mother, I dressed them in red, white, and blue and took pictures before going to eat at Pizza Hut.

We had to continue a three year old tradition, so off to the movie theater to see our friends and take a picture of our kids.

We watched the fireworks from the parking lot of Kerr Drug with Joey's mom and lit sparklers.

Joey's brother Matthew was here for the weekend, too, so we ate lunch together at the Mexican restaurant.

The rest of November

Just some good ole sisterly love.

And a nap on the couch.

We watched the Christmas parade with Beverly and Whitney happened to be where we were.

Madelyn slept the whole time.

Lydia was pretty bored.

Santa and the horses were the highlight for her.

I love to take pictures of a sleeping baby.

Madelyn and I visited Lydia at school for lunch.

And Jeremiah turned 8! (I was nursing during the major birthday festivities and no pictures got taken...)

Memorial Day 2012

We love the lake and we have found the perfect spot to hang out on nice days. The Town's County Recreation Park in Hiawassee, GA has a playground, a great beach, and picnic tables and it only take about 30-40 minutes to get to! This time we went with our good friends Mark, Kim, and Hope Green. It was so relaxing and so enjoyable!
Joey and Lydia have Play-Doh fingers on a regular basis.

Easter, Easter, and more Easter

We spent Good Friday dying eggs with Bev and Liz. Our eggs turned out beautifully!

Then she went egg hunting and broke all of them as she not so gently placed them in her oh-so cute bucket.

Saturday was spent egg hunting again. She got a ton of eggs, and a TON of candy. We 'accidentally' left it all at Grammy and Papa's.

Taking a break on the hammock.

The Easter Bunny visited for the 3rd year in a row. (Joey claims he has never heard of this tradition...really?)

Colored bath tablets are a must!
The really cute book - not so much.
Finger nail polish!
And candy, of course!
Painted Easter morning to match her dress. Precious!
My mom made the cute little shrug!

Happy Easter everyone!
