We tagged along with my good friend, Holly, and her family to camp at Tsali. A good time was had!

Nanny and Cricket like the water, to.

Lydia the fish.

Nanny's birthday hammock was a great source of entertainment.

The kids enjoyed the canoe.

Marshmallows are yummy!

And so is ice cream.

Helping make dinner.

Jeri Turns 50!

To celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday, we rented two cabins near Helen, GA. It was a nice getaway and most of Joey's family was there. We really missed Ashley, Brian, and Julian!

I love her puddle jumper! It is coast guard approved as a life vest!

Michael and Shannon flew in from California! (and baby Simon)

Lydia loves her Uncle Matthew!

Memorial Day 2012

We love the lake and we have found the perfect spot to hang out on nice days. The Town's County Recreation Park in Hiawassee, GA has a playground, a great beach, and picnic tables and it only take about 30-40 minutes to get to! This time we went with our good friends Mark, Kim, and Hope Green. It was so relaxing and so enjoyable!
Joey and Lydia have Play-Doh fingers on a regular basis.

Our First Anniversary

To celebrate our 1st Anniversary as a wedded couple, Joey and I went to Lake Lure for the weekend. We stayed in an inn with a pool that was also across the street from the lake. We walked through the nearby town where we ate lunch overlooking the river. We ate dinner on top of the hill up the road from the inn in a restaurant that overlooked the lake. We attempted to canoe. I did not enjoy this strenuous activity, so we ended up cutting our time out on the open water short. We were under the impression that the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed there. Only one scene was and that area had been destroyed by a fire many years ago. The cast did stay there, so there were some cool pictures and cabins named after characters from the movie. Overall, we had a grand time and hope to go back again.

Apparently I didn't take a lot of pictures since these are the only two.

Odd and Ends

I took Joey to the Street of Dreams in Atlanta. I have been several different times and I knew he would just love it. If you ever get a chance to go, you should. The houses are incredible!

Callie's getting married in August, so we went with her to try on dresses! So much fun!!

A day at the lake is always a nice break.

Eating at my parents...not sure why...

Practicing cutting together. (It's not as easy as it looks.)

Callie and Vanessa are silly. :)

Practice hair day!
