IHOP and Charlie's Visit

We were getting spring fever so we took a quick day trip to Buford. All we mainly bought was maternity clothes for me and food.

IHOP is probably Lydia's favorite place to eat. She mainly just wanted the cool whip...

We stopped in at Toys-R-Us to use a coupon for Lydia's birthday party supplies. The theme will be Tangled! However, she just wanted to sit in all the Power Wheels.

Charlie was visiting Mark and Marcia, so after stopping in Otto for dinner with my parents, we drove out to Cartoogechaye for some girl time.

Momarsh (or Memarsh) had to paint their nails.
Then they had to paint hers....
Then came the fashion show of all of Charlie's clothes.

Ring around the rosie!
And Lydia wants to go home with Charlie!

NT Scan

My OB office has implemented a new scan since the last time I was pregnant. It basically measures for chances of down syndrome and trisomy. We were able to get some AMAZING pictures of our 3 inch baby! God is so good!

The baby was turned like this for the first test and was not conducive to getting the measurement, so we had to reschedule for the next week. More pictures! :)

The baby cooperated the next time we went in.

There's the itty bitty measurement and all is good!

Easter, Easter, and more Easter

We spent Good Friday dying eggs with Bev and Liz. Our eggs turned out beautifully!

Then she went egg hunting and broke all of them as she not so gently placed them in her oh-so cute bucket.

Saturday was spent egg hunting again. She got a ton of eggs, and a TON of candy. We 'accidentally' left it all at Grammy and Papa's.

Taking a break on the hammock.

The Easter Bunny visited for the 3rd year in a row. (Joey claims he has never heard of this tradition...really?)

Colored bath tablets are a must!
The really cute book - not so much.
Finger nail polish!
And candy, of course!
Painted Easter morning to match her dress. Precious!
My mom made the cute little shrug!

Happy Easter everyone!

Kennedy Family Fun

Joey's parents recently moved back to the area. His aunt and three cousins live near Atlanta, so they came up for a visit. Becca and her three kids met us all with Greg included. We grilled out and roasted marshmallows. Obviously, Lydia had a blast. (As did we!)
Building with Josiah is always fun.
Lydia wanted Grandpa to sit with her...poor Loren....
Not sure what was up with the wings...

They were all kind enough to watch Lydia the next night so Joey could take me out to eat at a Japanese Steakhouse in Asheville for my birthday!
