All About Callie

Callie's birthday is July 13, so we threw her a party at our house.

The cake was ice cream, of course.

Hi Holly!

Apparently, it was a little after 9 on the night this picture was taken. :)

Holly threw Callie a bridal shower. Miranda was in charge of making her rehearsal bouquet using the bows and ribbons from the gifts.

The name of the game was "Make a wedding dress out of toilet paper and the bride chooses the best."

Game #2 consisted of Callie dressing herself blindfolded using the guests directions.

Honeymoon

On our way! We drove down to Buford, GA, and stopped to eat dinner. There was a terrible rainstorm while we drove. Isn't it good luck that it rains on your wedding day? Then we went on to Macon and stopped for the night. We drove the rest of the way to Palm Beach, FL, the next day where we stayed in an incredible resort, Ginn Hammock. Our room was fabulous and there were at least 3 different pools, 2 nice restaurants and a cafe, a work out room, hot tubs, spa, and it was ocean front. We hope to go back there again one day.

One day we we out to eat at one of those steakhouses...Longhorn maybe...

One night we got all dressed up and ate one of the fancy restaurants at the resort.

It rained one day so we drove down to Daytona Beach and ended up eating at our favorite restaurant. We love Olive Garden!

We watched fireworks from the balcony of our room. Happy 4th of July!

Of course my favorite part was laying on the beach. (Well, maybe not, but a close second.)

There were all kinds of places to just chill on the grounds. We chose to relax in one of the many hammocks.

Obviously, we had a great time and a great start to a great marriage.

Our Wedding Day

We truly had a very pretty wedding. We decided to get married at Prentiss Church of God for two reasons: 1. it was the church Joey grew up in when they were in the states 2. it was much bigger than my home church and could hold the 250 guests. The church itself is beautiful. We did very little decorating of the sanctuary because it already looked so nice and I didn't want to go overboard. The girls used the choir practice room to get dressed and it was very spacious.

Wedding Rehearsal and Dinner

The girls had to get their nails done at Natural Nails. It's always nice to be pampered.

My parents and Levourn and Karen Wiggins did an amazing job transforming the gym-like fellowship hall into a beautiful reception hall!

I loved my flower bouquet!

The "To Be's"
(Yes, they made me wear all of my accessories, but I do admit that it was pretty fun and I felt very special.)
