We've been working with Lydia on listening and following directions. To help with positive reinforcement, I brought home a baby food jar and enough marbles from school to fill it up. When she does something she is asked to do IMMEDIATELY, she gets a marble. (We also throw in some when she eats all her food.) When the lid won't close, it's deemed full and the reward is going to the Fun Factory. Since she's 3 now, she can enjoy the Foam Factory and big inflatable slide!
I wanted to spend some alone time with my big girl before the new baby gets here, so the day after my due date was a teacher workday and seemed like the best time since I was 'supposed' to have the baby any day. We enjoyed breakfast at the local restaurant, Sunset, and then went to my school to visit the fish and bunny rabbit.
