Lydia was so excited Friday morning, she dressed and pottied before coming downstairs!
We drove to Jason and Rachel's house to stay the night.
They treated us to pizza and the coolest playhouse ever.
Saturday at about 5:00, we crossed the bridge and spotted the ocean!
After unpacking and going grocery shopping, we took a walk on the beach.

We had planned to do kid pictures one morning so off to the beach we went with our little cuties. (more to come later as well as family pics)
We went out to eat on Tuesday evening. I had crab legs! And Lydia helped me eat them!
Thursday evening while walking on the beach, we happened to run into someone who told us a turtle nest was being excavated so we went back after dark and saw 3 lone survivors make their way to the ocean.
Friday morning we drove down to the east end of the island where there are relaxing, warm tide pools with no waves. The sky was clear and the sun was warm. A perfect ending!

We left on Friday afternoon and went to Steve and Melissa's for dinner then on to Jason and Rachel's for the night. After breakfast and lunch we hit the road home. We stopped at a few rest areas, and finally made it.
