The summer of the babies

Holly's friend Hannah needed someone to keep her 3 month old two days a week. I jumped at the chance. Holly and Wyatt also came over every Tuesday and Thursday for the whole day. We had so much. Greyson was an easy baby and I just loved on him all summer.

Our First Anniversary

To celebrate our 1st Anniversary as a wedded couple, Joey and I went to Lake Lure for the weekend. We stayed in an inn with a pool that was also across the street from the lake. We walked through the nearby town where we ate lunch overlooking the river. We ate dinner on top of the hill up the road from the inn in a restaurant that overlooked the lake. We attempted to canoe. I did not enjoy this strenuous activity, so we ended up cutting our time out on the open water short. We were under the impression that the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed there. Only one scene was and that area had been destroyed by a fire many years ago. The cast did stay there, so there were some cool pictures and cabins named after characters from the movie. Overall, we had a grand time and hope to go back again.

Apparently I didn't take a lot of pictures since these are the only two.

Happy 24th Birthday to Me

I turned 24 this week. I really don't mind getting older. On the contrary, I announce my birthday and then celebrate then entire week. Sometimes I can even get away with things if I'm within a 2 week window of the greatest day ever. I love my birthday. I get to have friends and family over and we can play games or just sit around watching tv and talking. It truly is a great day.
