Beverly is 50!

We had a surprise party for my Aunt Bev's 50th birthday at the Boiler Room.

Lydia was a dramatic story teller.

Madelyn was asleep.

Bev was surprised.

Madelyn woke up.

Yes, there are 50 lit candles.

Happy Birthday!

And Lydia blew out the last one.

Rhonda loved on Madelyn a lot.

"I want a purple one and a green one."

No, her socks are not too small.

Lydia loves smart phones. Too bad her parents don't have one and she has to play with Allie's. :)

Good Friends

Vanessa came to town all the way from Chicago! We made tacos and downed 2 large pitchers of sweet tea.  I am so glad we still make an effort to get together as much as possible.

Hopefully, Madelyn and Katherine will be as good of friends as we are.

Kennedy Family Christmas

We enjoyed shrimp and steak at Matt and Becca's Saturday night.

The kids vegged out in front of the TV.

Uncle Matt flew in!

Lydia said "Take a picture of me!" Then proceeded to do this:

Jeri and Loren (aka Grandma and Grandpa) came over Christmas morning.

Lydia got a dolhouse.

Madelyn got a GIANT pink dog.

Christmas night we went to Joey's parents for lasagna.

Madelyn slept most of the time.

The kids played together.

I just can't get enough of that reindeer butt. (The daddy is pretty handsome, too.)

Then it was movies and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
